Test & Review: Montane Men’s Fury Hooded Fleece Jacket

When (or if) summer finally arrives, you’re going to need one of those forever useful mid-layers that tick at least 2 boxes, if not more. And the Montane Fury Hoody is up to it big time!

With a tricky late spring/early summer 30 mile ultra on the horizon you need the same mentality as packing for a stay-cation holiday in the UK; basically 4 seasons in one day.

Made with a unique polyester and nylon fabric construction, the Fury offers outstanding moisture management properties. The polyester inner fleece is hydrophobic, taking moisture and pushing it to the outer face.

The nylon outer surface is more hydrophilic, drawing moisture to it allowing it to disperse and evaporate. Moisture is constantly getting moved from the inner to the outer face of the fleece, keeping you drier and more comfortable, even during high exertion activities, especially when the temperature variation is a minute-by-minute experience.
