Proto-typing is conducted in-house at the SOAR Lab and Studio in Shoreditch, whilst products are tested in the real-world by the SOAR design team, as well as by a mix of elite and everyday runners. Trail Rain Jacket
An ultra-lightweight hooded rain jacket engineered to balance waterproofing with outstanding breathability, durability, and in-race performance.

Trail runners are made of strong stuff, but no one is immune to bad weather, which is why we’ve taken your standard race-day rain shell and applied the Soar vision. Principally, each jacket is crafted with AIRLIGHT, our ultra-breathable fabric with a three-layer membrane and fully taped seams to keep out the harshest rain while you stay fast and light over the trails.
But we take it further with an unconventional smock design to keep things minimal, whether stowed inside itself in your pack as obligatory race equipment or worn on-and-off throughout a hard race. In this case, it also aligns impeccably with our goal to make a pack-compatible piece: the double half-zip construction smartly allows for increased on-run ventilation under chest straps. To the same end, we upped the abrasion resistance throughout to ensure a long-lasting under-pack performance and seasons of use.
The piece is rounded out with other trail-ready detailing, including an ergonomic hood with handy fastening, elasticated cuffs and rear hem, ergonomic sleeves to limit rustle and keep your speed, plus reflective details to ensure you’re seen. In short: it’s classic Soar design using technical materials with sharp tailoring in all the right places.

Trail Shorts

To meet these requirements, we went lightly compressive, highly breathable for the liner, durable and free-feeling for the outer shell, adding an ultra-smooth waistband, non-chafe seams and laser-cut hems. Trail Top
A durable, lightweight precision-fit layer for going long on the trails.
When the trail gets rough and the hours are long, the pack-ready Trail Top is the SOAR garment of choice. Durable, soft, structured and supremely breathable, we set the parameters to perform when the conditions are at their most testing. To achieve this, we’ve given it a considered multi-fabric construction to withstand the rigours of running off-road in the heat—with a trail pack on your shoulders.
The streamlined silhouette consists of our WOVEN AIR French-made fabric on the upper torso and shoulders to guarantee a long-lasting performance under a trail pack – think anti-pilling and anti-abrasion, redefined – alongside an ultra-breathable mesh on the abdomen, back and sleeves to wick moisture, fast. Keeping comfort in mind, we applied taped hems, minimal seams, and fitted sleeves, knowing that built-in UV protection is a non-negotiable.
The comprehensive design is rounded off with a full-length zip for temperature regulation, raised collar to protect against pack rub and signature SOAR detailing.

Trail Race Vest
Designed for trails, heat, long days and hydration packs.
The Trail Race Vest ensures you can go fast while keeping gear and hydration close to hand. Constructed with three unique fabrics; our PB-setting ultra-light SPACE3D mesh is used on the lower part of the vest, the abrasion resistant WOVEN AIR front panel protects against pack rub, and the NOE LIGHT back panel offers outstanding under-the-pack comfort.
Each design detail is considered – the raised collar offers further protection against pack rub while the dropped front neckline and easy-pull half-zip design aid ventilation during long, high intensity efforts.
The Trail Race Vest takes SOAR’s expertise in stripped-back racing garments off the road and onto the trials.

WoolTech Trail Top
A rugged winter long sleeve, pack-compatible with against the skin comfort and built to endure.
Engineered with added coverage and durability, the low-volume WoolTech Trail Top is warmth and function rolled into one – think hood up on dank, grey days and long wintery excursions with a trail pack.
It pairs a thermo-regulating merino wool-backed fabric against the skin with an abrasion-resistant windproof chest to create a cool-weather top that accommodates a pack for extra functionality. Constructed with a form-following silhouette and engineered 4-way stretch for movement, the built-in breathability from the merino keeps you comfortable as the temperature rises in step with your heart rate. Thumb loops, a hood, and reflective accents provide increased protection.
