The third running of the 50k ultra trail race organised by Green Events takes place on October 5, 2024. The race starts at 9.00 am from the Neuadd Arms at Llanwrtyd Wells and finishes at the hotel. The total ascent is about 5200 ft. Most of the race is off-road but does include the 25% iconic Devil’s Staircase road.

The race which takes place in the Cambrian mountains will test endurance and stamina. Some of the highlights of the route are the Irfon and Abergwesyn Valleys, Devil’s Staircase, Soar y Mynydd chapel (the most remote in Wales), Lynn Brianne reservoir, and the 11th century St David’s Church. The course is waymarked and marshaled with water and feed stops. The entry fee is £45 which includes Welsh cawl at the finish. If you want more information go to: www.green-events.co.uk
